I've done so little in my time on deviantart. I'm sitting in my Shakespeare class and I don't really feel like paying attention. In a little over a month, I will be a university graduate. Correction, I will be an unemployed university graduate. I'm going to upload some SLR pictures in a bit, and I'm going to New York City, Calgary, and the U.S. East Coast this year, so there should be many opportunities to take pictures. I'm feeling pretty excited about it. I want to shave my head bald to see if people will stay my friends. I have a friend who shaved her head in high school and everyone shunned her. ck. My camera of four years has decided to stop working. I've been saving up for a DSLR for about a year now (got my eyes set on the Canon EOS 7D, 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 lens), but I'm sure you, whoever you are that reads this, can understand that being a third-year undergrad, I run through money rather speedily and have accumulated a considerable amount of debt. I should be able to buy the camera sometime in February if all goes well. Until then. :) update Oct 10/10 I just realized I still have the film in my SLR from 2 years ago LOOOOL. I have my Fall Reading Week now, so I'll probably have some SLR fun; 14 exposures worth ;D

I am using my dad's SLR again; a Yashica F-X3 2000. I'm trying to use up the roll, but obviously I can't just throw those 24 exposures away like so much worthless trash. I've taken 10 pictures so far. I've read half the books I wanted to, but I still have half the summer left! I got a job at the CNE. I am quite contented by this. I learned to solve a Rubik's Cube. This, too, pleases me. I'm trying to solve a The Beatles jigsaw puzzle. It can be frustrating, but for the most part, it's a very calming process. I'm turning 19 in a month. How exciting. Two friends of mine are also turning 19 in a month, so we're doing a triple birthday. Yay.
